Decades following Marilyn Monroe shone in the Hollywood spotlight, her beauty life on.
And now, many thanks to an artifact unearthed by New York City’s Makeup Museum, supporters of the blond bombshell get a glimpse into how she stayed so stunning.
A document revealing the iconic actress’ personalized beauty program is on display screen as aspect of the museum’s “Pink Jungle: fifties Makeup in America” digital exhibit. In the letter, dated March seventeen, 1959 and dealt with to Mrs. Marilyn Monroe Miller (she was married to playwright Arthur Miller at the time), dermatologist Erno Laszlo wrote out comprehensive pores and skin-care instructions for the then-32-12 months-previous star.
And upon researching the document, NYC dermatologist Julie Russak says it gives many clues about Monroe’s pores and skin and that there is a great deal to be uncovered from her program currently. And many of the solutions she applied are nevertheless offered
