Bishop’s Stortford mum and medium Amy Fleckney hopes to empower women with her own hard-hitting true story as part of anthology

As aspect of a campaign to really encourage men and women to open up and converse far more freely about their psychological health, a mom of 3 from Bishop’s Stortford has co-written a reserve with fourteen other inspirational gals.

Amy Fleckney has shared her very own tale as aspect of anthology The Ladies Who Refused to Give up, which was printed on February 4 to coincide with Time to Speak Working day. It aims to start out discussions about psychological health and help close the stigma that surrounds it.

In her chapter, Amy chronicles how she single-handedly elevated her two young children soon after leaving an abusive romance. She describes a “relentless time of penny pinching” and describes getting forced to move into a cell household near Waltham Abbey to make finishes fulfill.
