Firecracker Fandango returns with a blast

Odessa’s preferred Firecracker Fandango will return July 2 with a scaled down, but action-packed event that includes a automobile and motorcycle show, stay new music, food items truck and many kid’s things to do.

The no cost, family members-welcoming event will kick-off with a six to 8 p.m. automobile and motorcycle show at Texas Ave. from 4th to sixth streets in downtown Odessa, claimed Alexa Moulakis, event coordinator for Downtown Odessa Inc. A no cost new music live performance from 8 to 10 p.m. will be held inside the Ector Theatre.

“Last calendar year would have been our twenty fifth anniversary but due to COVID-19 it had to be cancelled,” Moulakis claimed. “We desired to return with a scaled-back event his calendar year, but next calendar year will be even larger.”
