MPs urge government to take action on fast-fashion

Acquiring sustainable materials, boosting fabric recycling and bringing manufacturing jobs back to the Uk are some of the essential actions advisable in a new report from the All-Occasion Parliamentary Group for Ethics and Sustainability in Vogue (APPG).

The report, put to the governing administration these days, warns “supply chains have broken, income have dropped, unsold stock has created, retail outlets have closed and organizations have long gone out of business.  Consumer habits have shifted and so have attitudes – the community desires to see transform.”

Investigation carried out by environmental charity Hubbub, unveiled these days with the report, reveals that 65% of three,000 Uk grown ups surveyed concur the governing administration must urgently do extra to lessen the effects of the manner market on the surroundings.
