Today Northeast gift store Duke Albert homeowners Sarah Dwyer and Christopher Drees declared on Instagram that they’ve come to the decision to forever near the doors to their Central Ave. brick-and-mortar.

Dwyer and Drees opened the lifestyle and gift boutique in 2017 after the shuttering of Dwyer’s North Loop manner boutique Arrow (which operated from 2012-2016). Dwyer also worked in excess of sixteen years at iconic Twin Cities fashion boutique Intoto.

“We are sorry to have to near the storefront because we really feel like we have been permitting our great community down,” suggests Dwyer. “We do the bulk of our profits on-line and after the pandemic strike, the decision to near our brick-and-mortar presence grew to become quite very clear to us. As you can picture, it is quite high priced to keep a storefront with rent, overhead and time, and it wasn’t producing fantastic business sense any longer.”
