‘Queen & Slim’ designer styled Black History Month Barbies

The creative brain at the rear of the motion picture “Queen & Slim” has designed Barbie’s most up-to-date appears, in honor of Black Historical past Month.

Mattel labored with costume designer Shiona Turini to outfit a set of Barbies in 10 diverse hair designs, pores and skin tones and overall body sorts.

“Thank you @barbiestyle — for collaborating with me to make Barbies with braids, finger waves and every thing in in between,” Turini writes in an Instagram caption saying the collaboration. “Chicks by the layers, all diverse flavors. And even a curvy doll, in a crop top, with waist size twists. Little one Shiona is Proud.”

Each search for the Barbies was inspired by a few color themes: monochromatic, snakeskin mixed with black and white and sherbet hues. However the outfits them selves are not for sale, the dolls modeling them are section of a new launch of Black
